Refund Policy
The school assumes that all prospective students will have made a committed decision to study a given course before applying for admission. Consequently, the school policy on the refund of any fees upon withdrawal from a course is as follows:
I. An Administration Fee of €250 applies to all approved refunds and cancellations.
II. Approved refunds and cancellation payments are net of any bank charges.
III. Refund requests must be made in writing through this by the student (if enrolled directly with the school) or by the agent. It takes up to 20 working days to process a refund, once a request is approved and the approval is communicated to the student.
IV. For student bookings through agents, the student should direct the refund or cancellation request to the agent. DCAS policies and T&Cs still apply.
See sections A), B), and C) below for more details on REFUNDS, DEFERRALS, and CANCELLATIONS, respectively.

B) DEFERRALS
XVIII. Course deferrals are only accepted up to 4 weeks prior to a new student’s arrival date in Ireland.
XIX. Course deferrals are not available for students studying on a student visa, except in cases where the student visa decision is pending, or on appeal. In such cases, the school can defer the course start date until a final decision on the immigration status has been reached. It is the student’s responsibility to inform the school about the visa application outcome or status before the course start date. Failure to do so will result in additional charges, such as a new medical insurance to be issued, or tuition fees difference if the visa application process extends to a new academic year with different tuition fees.
XX. Students not studying on a student visa may defer the course start date for up to 12 months, provided the school receives written notice at least 4 weeks prior to the original course start date.
XXI. In cases of deferral, any fees or deposits paid by the student will be carried forward to the following calendar year. Should fees (tuition, exams, accommodation, insurance, registration) change between the date of deferment and the course commencement, the student must make up that difference in fees, prior to the school issuing an updated Acceptance Letter.
XXII. Any credit notes held on student or agent accounts will remain valid for a maximum of 12 months from the original course start date; they will thereafter become void.
XXIII. If a course is postponed for more than 12 months from the date the student was registered, the regular cancellation fees apply and the booking will be treated as a new booking, i.e. new fees (course, accommodation, registration, and placement fees, insurance and exam fee) will apply, if applicable.
XXIV. Course deferrals incur Administration Fee, if the course start date is postponed more than twice after a course invoice is issued.
C) CANCELLATIONS
XXVI. Courses are not transferable.
XXVII. Cancellations are accepted up to 28 days prior to the course commencement date indicated on the Acceptance Letter.
XXVIII. For cancellation requests within 10-27 days of the course commencement date indicated on the Acceptance Letter, 50% of the tuition fees are forfeited.
XXIX. For cancellations of less than 10 days of the course commencement date, no refund is given.
XXX. For international students on a study visa, no cancellation is permitted after the student’s arrival in Ireland, as students are required to complete their full course period (induction week, classes, and study breaks).
XXXI. Medical insurance cannot be cancelled after the insurance cover start date, once the policy is active, and in effect.
